Summer

Tuesday, June 8, 2010

I like the summer because you can stay out late, not worrying about homework and waking up all early in the morning. You can go to the beach all summer and go on vacation. Hang out with friends. I like being able to stay out late on the beach and going swimming with friends and just being able to see them all the time. This summer will be more fun than any other because I can drive, and I'm going to California with my cousin for a couple of weeks. I haven't been there since I was 8 for spring break & my birthday. I had such a fun time, but I was pretty young so it's hard to remember everything we did. I also might be going to Maine again, and Florida or the first time. I like going on vacations because you get to see how different it is there than where you live & what you're used to, the family also gets to spend some time together. I can't wait for the end of this week and it will finally be summer break & I'll be a junior when I go back to school. (:

Best Vacation Spots

Florida
Florida's featured destination is the Florida Keys, Florida is blessed to have their own little taste of the tropics attached at the end of its great state. When you think of the Caribbean you think of fruity frozen drinks, warm breezes, crystal clear blue water and inviting sunny beaches, that's exactly what the Keys are like and you don't even need a passport.

Caribbean
If you are considering a Dominican Republic Vacation, then the absolutely top place to go to must be The Bungalows at Puerto Plata. From the moment you arrive at The Bungalows, and you are greeted by your name, given cold towels and a drink you will be made to feel very special, and The Bungalows is a special place you will have chosen for your Dominican Republic Vacation.

Hawaii
One of the world's most famous stretches of sand: Waikiki is busy and famous, yet still a lovely place with many good features for families.Waikiki is flanked by many hotels of different styles and price range. You can plan a Hawaii Beach vacation that includes:
-surf lessons for kids; hike up Diamond Head; catamaran sail; return to a bygone era, with High Tea at the Moana Surfider Hotel; outing to Pearl Harbor; and maybe even a free movie on the beach.

Europe
If you're looking for a summer vacation that combines history with hip culture, this European capital is it. World-class museums and theater, charming neighborhoods and iconic attractions like Big Ben make exploring London a constant adventure.

Maui
Maui was formed by two adjacent volcanoes, and today the two peaks are joined by a long, lush valley (hence its moniker, "The Valley Isle"). The East Maui volcano is Haleakala, and the West Maui volcano, is Kahoolawe.

Paris
Paris. The culture, palaces, chateus, museums, clubs and what not. Just a word of caution - in September, Paris is a little less than the perfect vacation spot. That's because its the peak of the tourist season, and accommodation is a real pain. Book your night-spot well in advance if you need to rest your head.

Las Vegas
Las Vegas hotels each try to outshine each other on the Strip, and with gourmet restaurants, world-class shows, spas, live music and comedy - Sin City truly has something for everyone.

Cancun, Mexico
Beautiful beaches, watersports and nightlife make Cancun a perennially popular vacation destination. Cancun hotels range from luxurious all-inclusive resorts to family-friendly hotels.

Fashion-Marc Jacobs

Tuesday, June 1, 2010

Marc Jacobs is a fashion designer. He makes runway styles. People love to wear his clothes and his items are reasonably priced. He is a young designer and a lot of people like hi spunky taste. His workload includes Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc and Louis Vuitton - a titanic selection of back to back collections but he still has time to build a world class contemporary art collection and dress in pigeon costumes at his annual fancy dress party.
